Juvederm is a long lasting, non-surgical option using hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occuring substance that delivers volume to the skin. This is most commonly used to reduce facial lines, restore volume, and fullness to the face. Using juvederm filler, we can enhance your lips and fill in the creases around your nose and mouth with natural looking results.
You will have an initial consultuation with Stacy or Kelly where your aesthetic goals will be discussed to help you acheive your most desired outcomes. During the treatment, your injector may use a topical or local anesthetic and you should see immediate results. Redness and swelling are normal after your treatment and minimal bruising may occur. The treated areas will soften and settle over time. Pre and post treatment instructions will be given at the time of booking.
Juvederm fillers last on average from 9 months to 1 year.
When injecting filler, our main goal is to accentuate your natural features.
Potential side effects include temporary redness, swelling, discomfort, firmness, bruising, and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.
Anybody that is looking for fuller lips and smoother lines! You should not receive these treatments if you have a history of multiple severe allergies or sever allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), if you are allergic to lidocaine, or if you have had a previous allergic reaction to hyaluronic acid fillers.
Botulinum Toxin (Botox®) is a purified protein approved by the FDA in 2002 for use in cosmetic and therapeutic procedures. It works as a muscle relaxant; when injected in specific muscle groups it minimizes the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and between the eyebrows. These areas are also known as the frown lines and or crow’s feet. Our goal is to provide you with a more youthful and refreshed appearance

Botox® binds to the nerve endings of the specific muscle injected within a few hours. It relaxes the muscle over time with max results typically within 2 weeks. Once these muscles are relaxed, it decreases their ability to move as freely and thus prevents deeper lines from forming. With the decreased movement your body is able to remodel the layers of collagen under the skin, allowing a smoother appearance to develop. Commonly, Botox® lasts three to four months and requires reinjection to maintain the appearance of facial smoothness.
Patient must be in good health with no active skin infections in the areas to be treated.
Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment. Alcohol can thin the blood, which increases the risk of bleeding and bruising. Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications ideally, for a period of 1 to 2 weeks before treatment.
Its best to schedule your Botox® appointment at least 2 weeks on either end of a facial treatment such as microdermabrasion, brow waxing, microblading, peels and facials. Optimally you also want to plan 2-3 weeks before a special occasion, i.e., wedding, vacation, etc. etc. This allows adequate time for BOTOX® to take full effect, as well as allow for any bruising to resolve or a touch up treatment to take place.
Following treatment, we encourage you to stay upright for 4-5 hours. Avoidance of heavy lifting, and vigorous activity for 24 hours following treatment is also recommended. These precautions are to prevent increased blood flow to the treated area which could cause spreading the Botox® from its designated injection site. This could cause decreased efficient affects and increase chances of asymmetry and migration of product to surrounding muscles. Abrasive face washes and scrub usage is discouraged for the first 12 hours, but other normal face regimens such as face washing and moisturizers can be used 4-5 hours after treatment.
Botox® is intended for use with individuals 18 or older, not allergic to any of its ingredients, and are not currently pregnant or actively breastfeeding. Certain neuro muscular conditions can also disqualify you from treatment. Further discussion of any preexisting conditions may be needed prior to scheduling an appointment. Botox® is utilized to address mild to moderate facial creases and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead area. It can also be used to provide you with a “Botox Brow Lift” if desired which opens the eye area and helps with mild lid droop. Give us a call if you have any questions, we would be happy to discuss this treatment with you further!
