Benefits of Infrared Sauna Therapy
Detoxification through sweat is a centuries-old practice. Modern environmental medicine has demonstrated that sweat serves a purpose beyond temperature regulation. It’s also part of the body’s elimination system and one of the ways to support natural detoxification and maintain good health. Infrared provides a more enjoyable experience. It warms the body from within instead of just heating the air around you. This provides a unique opportunity for wellness benefits beyond a traditional sauna.
Infrared sauna therapy may be supportive for relaxation, circulation, recovery, and general wellness because of its ability to gently warm human tissue, resulting in a deep sweat. It is often used to support detoxification, immune function, weight management, cardiovascular health, and relaxation. Many sauna users report feeling relief from everyday aches and tension because the warmth helps relax the joints and muscle tissue. These six different preset programs each deliver specific blends of near, mid, & far infrared for individual wellness benefits.

Prepare for your session!
Before your sauna session, you should hydrate to prepare for an increase in core body temperature & wait at least 1 to 2 hours after eating before beginning the session. Plan on wearing minimal clothing during your session to allow the Infrared sauna Services in Olympia, Washington, to deeply penetrate your tissue, such as a swimsuit, gym shorts, or a cotton towel.
Depending on the program you choose, sessions last between 30 and 45 minutes. While you’re enjoying your session, listen to your body! Adjust based on what it’s telling you & let our team know if you’re experiencing any flu-like symptoms; discontinue your session. Everyone sweats differently, so you may not sweat much during your first few sessions, but your sweat will increase with regular use. Please refrain from bringing plastic water bottles into the sauna with you.
Be sure to rehydrate with water or a complementary electrolyte drink to replenish fluids following your session. We recommend waiting at least 1 hour before showering to keep your hyperthermic benefits as long as possible.
